João Gomes signs with Tecnopower

After some intense testings in the Vale de Cambra track, TugaRacestore is proud to announce that “Bife” and Tecnopower signed a contract that states that João is now the official driver for this new company founded by one of the most known engine “guru”, not much not less then Rody Roem himself.
On Roem’s own words… “We are very happy to have João joining us and helping us to promote and race our engines. He will not only participate in the upcoming Euro B but also the Euro A and Worlds in Thailand.
We at TECNOPOWER would like to wish him the best of luck and give our best to support to him during these events and will be present too support technically any other driver who will be using our engines during these events.”
Tugaracestore makes the A Main in the Guarda Warm-Up

This weekend we went to Guarda for the European Championship Warm Up,
After some experience with tires and different set-ups different the qaulif did not work out so well so the team defined the tires and set-up to be used the next day at the 1/8 ’s where our race would continue.
After Andre Lima have bump up since the 1/32 to the same 1/8’s B where he met John Gomes expectancy was in how far they could both go.
Andre Lima ended his participation in the 9th place of 1/8’s B but John Gomes made the best debut in the best way winning this series and qualifying for the 1/4’s B where it would start with the number 9.
In 1/4’s B, “Bife” repeated the dose, winning again in front of Samuele Lenzi, Teemu Leino and Fernando Almeida bumping up to the semi final.
Among high level drivers as Bloomfield, Matias and Battle, Bife ended 4th and qualyfied to the Final leaving behind names like Yannick Aigoin Davide Tortorrichi, Samuele Lenzi and Fernando Almeida.
In his first international final of all time, Joao Gomes had no luck losing some precious time on the first lap and making a run from back to front over the 45m of the Final to finish in 7th position, an excellent result for someone who had never participated in such a big event!
